John and Lisa Lofberg purchased the former Cecily's Cafe in June of 2009. After running Cecily's for just over a year and a half, they decided to change the format, modernizing the menu and placing a greater focus on natural, locally grown and seasonal ingredients. They decided to re-launch their new restaurant as Beach Plum Bakery Cafe.
