Slocum's River Reserve

Slocum's River Reserve is part of the Dartmouth Natural Resource Trust (DNRT). It protects more than 3000 feet of frontage along the Slocum River. The 47 acre Reserve includes mature woodlands, agricultural fields and pasture and 2 miles of walking trails. Easements connect the property to a long loop trail through Dartmoor Farm Wildlife Management to the west of the property. It is jointly owned and managed by the Trustees of Reservations and the DNRT. Slocum's River Reserve is located at the intersection of Horseneck Road and Slocum's River, Dartmouth, 1.4 miles south of Russell's Mills Village. The trail begins in the parking lot, dogs must be leashed on the pedestrian trials and it is requested that visitors stay off the agricultural fields. Please visit www.dnrt.org
