Jabez Howland House is an historic home named after Jabez Howland, a decedent of Mayflower passengers and 2 of the original Pilgrims, John and Elizabeth Howland. The oldest portion of the home was built in 1667 and was owned as a private residence until 1915. The home was restored to its original 17th century grandeur in the 1940s and is decorated with period furnishings. The home now operates as a museum.
