Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery is the largest vineyard in New England and serves excellent locally-grown wines. There are outdoor summer sunset events for the whole family.
Since 1982, Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery has grown to 80 acres and has become the largest vineyard in New England.
The vinery store offers various wine tastings for a nominal fee. Tastings are featured every day during regular business hours.
In summer, outdoor sunset music events usually draw large crowds.
Bob and Carol Russell founded Westport Rivers when they decided to re-enter the family wine growing business that Carol's family had started generations before. In 1986, the first vines were planted by the family's oldest son, Rob who came aboard to plant and manage the vineyard.
